ERCOT Websites: MIS, TML and ERCOT.com • The MIS Portal provides the framework for the single point of access for Market Participants, PUC, and ERCOT staff to market information and to ERCOT market-facing applications • MIS will eventually replace TML as the Market-facing portal to ERCOT systems and information • TML will run in parallel with MIS after nodal go-live and continue to provide access to retail applications, reports and applications until: • ERCOT no longer settles the zonal market • All retail applications and information have been tested on MIS • At that time, TML will be decommissioned • MIS will provide access to all information, as required by protocol • Certified, Secure, and Public • Users will need a digital certificate to access MIS • All public information required by protocols will also be accessible through ERCOT.com

  3. Access to ERCOT Websites Operations and System Planning Data Portal ERCOT.com Note: TML Portal will continue to host Retail applications and Wholesale zonal settlements data post go-live, but will eventually be decommissioned

TML after Nodal Go-Live • Some information on TML that will be obsolete after nodal go-live will be removed • All retail information and applications will remain on TML until after zonal settlements is complete • Nodal settlements information will be accessible through MIS • Zonal settlements information will be accessible through TML • TML will contain a link to MIS; MIS will contain a link to TML

  9. MIS – Other Functionality • Search – adding search/query engine to the portal that is more robust than the current ERCOT.com function. More indices, larger search results, deeper dives into content • Note: this improvement will also be seen on ERCOT.com • My Page – providing a configurable ‘My Page’ that provides for content access according to user preferences • Dashboards – providing real-time graphical displays of information/data • Notices – delivering display page of System-generated notices from MMS, NMMS, OS, EMS, CRR and manually-created Operations notices created by ERCOT operators • Will include Public, Secure and Certified notices • Will not include: notices typically created by Client Services, such as market notices and legal notices and the Retail System Outage Notices displayed on ERCOT.com
