  2. Today- Powerpoint/notes • Tomorrow create a grayscale • Friday sketch hands in 5 different poses and brainstorm ideas as a class for what your hand will hold • Monday no school • Tuesday- Review, mini quiz, begin project • Followed by work days

  4. Think about different angles for your hand. Choose the one that is the easiest for you. This is why we did the practice drawings yesterday.

  5. Shading- Any part that is lower, or folded over or away from your light source will have a shadow. (Go over different ways to shade.) Remember- Fingers curve, and rings curve.

  7. Anatomy- If you get into advanced “Life Drawing” you will take anatomy to learn the placement and proportions of the bones and muscles in the body.

  11. Vine charcoal • Charcoal pencils (Soft= darkest, medium=medium, hard=lightest) • Blending stumps • Kneaded erasers • Realistic • Abstract Vocabulary/Tools

  12. Draw5 hands in different poses • Choose a favorite • Choose something that is far to large for your hand to hold… your hand will hold that. • Draw a grayscale using charcoal • Draw your final hand using charcoal What we are going to do
