Cell City Due to high potential of Alborz province for setting up cell city with presence of more than 70 percent of big pharmaceutical companies of the country in the vicinityand with support of Vice-Presidency for science and technology of Islamic republic of Iran, cell city was established in the Kharazmi University, for the first time in the country.

  9. Cognetive science Research group Cognitive Sciences is a model of interdisciplinary program study of the mind, encompassing the study of brain functions as well as intelligent behaviors. Strong collaboration of the Kharazmi University with University of Cambridge and Monash University in this field

  10. Plasma Medicine Research center • Admission of PhD and Master students in this field • Consulting with professors in some German, Austrian and American Universities • Performing experiments about effects of Plasma on the body for the first time

Aims & Duties of the Kharazmi University’sCES • Due to that we have decided to establish the Center for European Studies with the main following aims: • To improve the scientific basis of Iranian Universities in line of expanding scientific relationships of Iran and EU • To facilitate scientific exchanges among scientific institutions in Iran and EU

Duties of the Kharazmi University’s CES • To conduct fundamental and practical research-based plans in different scientific aspects with the EU • Coordinating and developing scholarship, teaching and community events related to Europe • To establish active and productive relations with European universities in terms of European studies, particularly by means of networking

  16. Research Departments Based on the importance of these topics along with the topics which are important on the other ends for Iran, the CES have the following four groups: • Strategic studies • Human security • Water, energy, and environment • Advanced technologies

Suggestion for future collaboration with Hungary • Allocating specific scholarships for Iranian and Hungarian graduate students, for short term research stay • Allocating specific number of research stay for Iranian PhD students in Hungarian Universities • Establishing branch of one Hungarian University in Iran. This could be started by collaboration between two faculties, then it could be extended to all majors. • Holding training workshop for applying the proposals for Iranian researchers • Allocating specific host institutions in Hungary for Iranian researchers to apply for European funds such as Horizon 2020 and Erasmus plus. • Running joint research projects between Iranian and Hungarian researchers and allocating funds from both sides
