  2. Explain where you were born & where you live now to your partner. -type of home -city -state -country

  3. Explain what there is close to your home in your neighborhood.

  4. Explain what you don’t live close to OR what you live far from.

  5. Explain how you get to school every day. (transportation) Use frequency words to help.

  6. Explain which places you go to (Yovoy a) in your neighborhood and how often.

  7. Describe your neighborhood to your partner with as much detail as possible.

  8. Describe your home, what it looks like and what is outside of it.

  9. Discuss places you like to go using the Spanish words for them. No proper names allowed!

  10. Complain about places you don’t like to go and why.

  11. Complain about your neighborhood and why you feel that way to your partner.

  12. Complain about your home and why.

  13. Complain about the city you live in and why you feel that way.

  14. Interpersonal Practice: En mi Vecindario Talk to your partner about the places mentioned. Record your partner’s responses. Be prepared to share with the class! Partner A: Ask your partner if he/she lives close to or far from the following places! • La casa de tusabuelos • Las montañas • El parque • El gimnasio • La ciudad de Dallas ¿Vives cerca o lejos del cine? Yo vivo cerca del cine. Partner B: Ask your partner if he/she lives close to or far from the following places! • Un grupo de apartamentos • El lago • El aeropuerto • El colegio • El zoológico
