  2. How did it all begin……. Once upon a time…in a far far away land called Papakura..lived a king. His castle was called Rosehill College. One day, some of the higher up people in the castle decided it was time to move away from the far far away land..to the new new land. A land where things will be done in the cloud!!!!! And that it how it all began…………………………….

  5. End of last year…. Setting up the department site Teachers setting up their individual sites Devices they will be using – chromebooks(which brand, costs..) Wifi – connectivity ilearn sessions for staff every Wednesday

  6. Google Drive Angela’s Google Drive Department Google Drive – Work in progress Ranee’s given time Pro’s Con’s Google is simple. It limits your creating abilities! Google is easily accessed on the computer. Devices like Ipad’s are another story. WORD documents can not be edited on drive NEED reliable internet Giving students the ability to edit a document at the same time can cause chaos! SET ground rules. Movement of documents and folders! • Can be access from everywhere!!!! It’s all in the CLOUD! • Lesson planning can be done on drive • Share handoutsin a shared folder. The days of students saying “I lost that paper” are over • It has an autosave feature! YAY!!!! • The comment feature is great for teachers and students. • You and your students can work collaboratively on documents AT THE SAME TIME • You can see all revisions that each student has made and when.
