ACCREDITATION • Requests (SG6 forms) must be submitted before 13 September 2011 • SG6 forms available at http://www.un.int/protocol • Send covering letter with names and functional titles of members of delegation to the Chief of Protocol before 13 September 2011 • All requests require 48 business hours for processing after submission • Delegates needing photos must proceed to Pass and ID • Missions may collect passes for those with photo in the system

  9. ACCREDITATION cont’d… • VIP passes (without photo) for Heads of State/Heads of Government, Vice-Presidents, Crown Princes and spouses • VIP passes (with photo) for Deputy Prime Ministers, Cabinet Ministers and spouses • Protocol passes curtailed during 19 – 27 September 2011

  10. Restricted Areas and Meeting Rooms Restricted areas: • GA building:- 2nd Floor, GA Hall, First basement (press stakeout area), Security Council Chamber • North Lawn Building:- Conference rooms for the Roundtables/Panels and specific High-Level meetings

Access to restricted areas • Access cards “GA Hall and Delegates entrance lobby” to be distributed by PLS will be valid from 19 – 27 September 2011 • Permanent Missions/Observers – 6 for the High Level meetings and General Debate and 4 for the Delegates Entrance Lobby • Observers / IGOs – 2 for High-Level Meetings and the General Debate and 2 for the Delegates Entrance Lobby • Specialized Agencies – 1 for the High-Level Meetings and General Debate and 2 for the Delegates Entrance Lobby • Seats in the VIP Section and 4th floor balcony during the Speech of the Head of delegation available upon written request

New Arrangements Accreditation and Collection of passes - Protocol and Liaison Service Office – 2nd Floor – North Lawn Building Access to 2nd floor (General Assembly) • Limited to holders of color coded pass only Kuwaiti Boat Area - Overflow area for delegates with the + 4 access cards Access to GA 200: - Limit delegation size in GA200 (Head of Delegation plus two) Felicitations: • Restricted to the western area at the front of the Indonesian Lounge Official Luncheon • Visitors Lobby Side Events and Roundtables/Panels • To be held in North Lawn Building Treaty Signing - Neck area on the 2nd floor of the conference building (the former flag area)
