Novel Connections: Animal Farm • Examples of leaders not upholding our constitutional rights: • Napoleon and the other pigs changing the seven commandments for their own benefit. • Making the animals work long hours with little compensation • Brainwashing animals into thinking there is a lot of food and good living conditions • Napoleon taking credit for Snowball’s windmill idea • Napoleon and the pigs going against the original idea of Animalism.

Novel Connections: Animal Farm • Examples of how to heed the situation: • Hard to heed the situation because the other animals were not as smart as the pigs • They were being brainwashed • Scared to act against Napoleon • They would almost realize that something was wrong, but they weren’t smart enough and the pigs convinced them otherwise.
