Current Activities • HL7 Detailed Clinical Model (DCM) for Medical Devices • Evolve previous Domain Analysis Model (DAM) • National Library of Medicine Interagency Agreement • Represent GMDN device terms, e.g. prosthetics, implantable devices • Home Telehealth date/time consistency • VHA Home Telehealth Sub-working Group • Identify minimum technical requirements for acquisition, vendor conformance criteria, define future business requirements (PHD ecosystem) • Device interoperability acquisition pamphlet • Provide resources for standards-based procurement, e.g. PCD Handbook, etc.

Current Activities • Open Source Electronic Health Record Alliance (OSHERA) VistA Medical Device Test Adapter • Evolve existing medical test adapter • Demonstration at HIMSS • Production/open-source adapter • OSEHRA VistA is a community-supported, open source EHR that can be obtained at no cost, customized, and implemented by developers or providers in the healthcare industry. • Based upon, and maintains bi-directional compatibility with the VistA EHR system developed by the VA, but also includes a wide range of enhancements from the community at large.
