  2. Class Work • You do a great deal of your projects in class; this way I can help you while you work. • If you do not have written homework, you still have review that night what we did in class that day.

  4. How Grades are Figured • Quarter Grades • 75 Percent – Test and Quizzes • 25 Percent – Lab – Homework-Class • Semester Grades 1st Quarter 2nd Quarter MidTerm

  5. Labs • You always have pre-lab. • Labs – You can not miss a lab. No Music lesson, or other excuses for mandatory labs. Some can be made up; however some cannot. • Lab reports are due the next school day. • Lab reports are kept in their folders in the classroom- • so do not go in the “BLACK HOLE”

  6. Test • There is always a review class in class before an examination The students can try to see me during their study halls if I do not have Lab. • There are no retest; however sometimes I will give another examination. • I drop the lowest grade in the 1st quarter only.

  7. What do need for class • 1 notebook – your notebook will be marked each quarter – they are equal to one test grade. Keep them neat and up to date. • Color pencils- you can not do Biology without drawing – you will need your own set of color pencils. • Pencils for test - #2 Please!!!!!!

  8. Test!! • On Test Day- each table will receive four separate test – same number of questions; how ever they are in deferent order.

  9. No Gum!! • Don’t be Dumb and chew gum in class! • If you are late 3 times you get a JUG. • Make sure your area is cleaned up before you leave class. • Do not make me mad I will make you sad. • Please be in dress code.

  10. This is a fresh start! • I do not ask your former teacher about you! You and I have a fresh state together- make it good. • If you try and hand your work in on time then I will consider extra work if you need it to up your grade.

  11. Homework and Labs • You have to put your work in the draw to score! • When you get back you will put it the folder in the room- and leave there. • You old test should be in there as well in order for you to study for the quarter test.
