  3. 1. Learn how to apply technology in class 2. Make something to catch students interest Expectations: 3. Learn how to integrate hands on activities not previously known by students 4. Learn how to use the net, and how to search for sample lesson

  4. SUCCESSES • Use of internet (search) • Use of graphics/Power Point/Geometry Software • Learned how cut/paste from internet • Provide rich selection of resources • Students were engaged with learning

How things went?/Shortcomings • It is hard to think how/when to start and how to do it. • Time schedule conflict with other responsibilities, can lead you to stress • Design a single lesson take a lot of effort, but it can be used and adapted in many ways • Learned how to effectively use computer • Equipment granted a lot of motivation to the task

  6. Lesson Revision Use software to improve graph representation Take students to computer laboratory where they can get different types of proofs Modify lesson approach, for better understanding using visual help Get training for better presentations

  7. Actual Learning Slides • Students’ Samples: • Questionaire/Worksheet • Sample Problems • Proof Sample/hands-on activities

  8. Conclusion • It was rewarding to find new ways to integrate technology in the math classroom. • I feel that my students and myself benefit from my training and use of technology in the classroom • It was fun to learn the strategies, to get paid, and to earn such a nice equipment
