  2. Secure Enterprise Search Venkat (Sesha) Veerapaneni Oracle Application Consultant I presenting in OOW for past 7-8 years mostly on Integration Broker and recently on SES . I am more of a technical person and never did any presentations with partners  so please let me know if you have any special instructions or suggestions for the deck .Also please let me know if i am sharing time with some one else and how much time to be reserved for Q&A.

Welcome and Introductions Venkat (aka: Sesha) Veerapaneni has been with PeopleTools for the past 10 years working on various Integration technologies mostly on Integration Broker , Workflow , REN server In the past 3 years he has been dedicated to the SES integration project and played a  key role in the architecture , designing , developing , evanglising,  training and coordinating various aspects of this project

PeopleSoft Technology SIG • The PeopleSoft Technology Special Interest Group (SIG) works closely with Oracle to address the needs of our members. • The PS Tech SIG is the vehicle to communicate enhancements and improvements to the technical areas of PeopleSoft. • The PS Tech SIG provides opportunities to network with other PS techies • The Quest Tech SIG had represented both PS and JDE Technology.  Now each product line has its own Tech SIG.“ • Currently have 433 members…. And growing

THE SIG: FROM OAUG to quest • All PS SIGs transitioned from OAUG to Quest in the last few months. • This transition will consolidate the PS customer base and improve our ability to communicate with Oracle. • The existing Quest Tech SIG had represented PS Technology, and that was spun off into the newly-formed PS Tech SIG.

THE SIG: ENHANCEMENT REQUESTS • Oracle works closely with the SIGs to gather, review, and implement enhancement requests from customers. • Visit the Enhancement Request area of questdirect.org to submit your enhancement ideas and to prioritize the enhancements submitted by other users. • Home > Manage Your Content > Enhancement Requests • The SIG leadership discusses enhancement requests and escalates them to Oracle for review and implementation.
