Title I • Property Control Record • Emailed to Principal/ITSA • List of all white/red tag items • District Contacts: Jill Palmer, Lucille Gilbert, and Jose Gonzalez • 10% PD Set-aside • Print budget for fund 4201 - function 6402 • Highlight expense total • Ensure expense is at least 10% of Basic Allocation • Handwrite “10% PD Set-aside” on top of budget

  7. Title I • FY14 Budget Planning Tool • Available on website under FY14 Title I Budget • Lab sessions available for support – register online • All Title I budgets due April 17th • FY14 Title I funded positions will not be available until budget is approved by Title I

Title I • FY13 Close-out Dates • Last day for requisitions – April 30th • Last day for Warehouse Orders – June 6th • Last day for P card – June 13th • Last day for Charter reimbursements – June 13th • Last day for PRT salary – June 28th • Title I Grant closes – June 30th • Last day for travel reimbursements – July 9th

Title I • March P Card • Closes April 4th • Submit all pending documentation to Beth today • TDEs are to be accurate and complete • Must have correct estimated travel costs and funding information • When using two funds, complete both funding lines • Incorrect or incomplete TDEs will not be accepted as documentation for P-card charges • Check for Common Core July training • Must be charged to FY14 • Call Beth (PX 48341) immediately if not yet reconciled

Title I • Family Involvement Incentives • Guidance from FDOE recently received • No longer allowed in Title I • OMB Circular A-87 • “Grant funds may not be used to pay for souvenirs, memorabilia, promotional items, (i.e., give-aways) or gifts” • Research community support for incentives or use other funding source

Title I • Family Involvement Surveys • Thank you all – 100% participation • Surveys are being scanned this week • Results will be emailed by end of April • Comparison report available this year along with District results • Share results with principal, teachers, and parents • Document sharing of results with agenda, sign-ins, and minutes • Keep in secure place for FY14 files • Use results to focus on revisions to FY14 PIP and Compact

Title I • Student Intervention Services • HEART - Homeless Education Assistance Resource Team • Have a homeless family or any questions regarding homeless students contact 494-1569 or PX 81569 • Website is current and has contact information for the Social Service Facilitators • New facilitator, Vernell Williams-Desrosier, joined team this year to serve the Glades area • Foster care liaison, Laura Shoemaker, is part of HEART http://www.palmbeachschools.org/sis/HEART/
