  2. Passive Voice We use the Passive Voice when we want to emphasize the action. It is also used either when we don’t know who did the action, or we don’t want to mention it. My car was stolen. My house was built in 2000.

  3. The Passive Voice is widely used in headlines. Check the following examples.
