  8. Homework, Newsletter, and Daily Behavior • Homework is given weekly • Given on Friday due the following Friday • Signatures for Reading Homework Reading Log • Newsletters by email (paper copy) • Daily Behavior Progress Reports: please sign after the week is over

  9. Expectations: • Rules: • Respect teacher, classmates, and materials. • Listen and follow directions. • Raise your hand. • Keep hands and feet to yourself. • Walk in the classroom. • Use your manners. • Remember to always use the golden rule: treat others as you want to be treated

  10. Behavior System (M. Johnson) • Green card: Having a great day!!! • Yellow card: Warning (behavior sheet will have a yellow stamp) • Orange card: Lose 10 minutes of recess or special event. Fill out a stop and think form to be signed by a parent. (behavior sheet will have an orange stamp) • Red card: Lose all recess or special event. The student will call or an email the parent. Fill out a stop and think form to be signed by a parent. (behavior sheet will have a red stamp)  • After red or in extreme cases : Will be sent to the office! • Note: Foul language, disrespectful behavior, and fighting will not be tolerated. Immediate action will be taken. According to the severity of the behavior, some of the above consequences may be skipped.
