  5. SPIRITUAL “And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:1

  6. SPIRITUAL “And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:3-5

  7. INTELLECTUAL “Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:” Colossians 1:28

  8. EMOTIONAL “But we were gentle among you, even as a nurse cherisheth her children: So being affectionately desirous of you, we were willing to have imparted unto you, not the gospel of God” 1 Thessalonians 2:7-8

  12. PRACTICAL TIPS ON HOW TO BECOME A FRUITFUL WITNESS

  13. STEP 1: CULTIVATE THE SOIL Identify people who need Jesus Christ

  14. STEP 1: CULTIVATE THE SOIL Win the confidence of people by showing genuine interest in them

  15. STEP 1: CULTIVATE THE SOIL Develop healthy relationships with people in order to gain their trust

  16. STEP 2: SOW THE SEED Learn to Listen

  17. STEP 2: SOW THE SEED Use verses and terms to specific situations and needs of people appropriate

  18. STEP 2: SOW THE SEED Be to people’s reception to the Gospel…generate interest by raising your faith flags sensitive

  19. What is a Faith Flag? A. It is the simplest way to introduce your faith into any conversation B. It is a short testimony of how faith has worked in your life C. It establishes your Christian identity

  20. STEP 3: FERTILIZE THE SEED Live a life that conforms to the Word of God…live consistently with what we claim the Word of God says

  21. STEP 3: FERTILIZE THE SEED Find time with people and touch their lives especially during their most significant moments

  22. STEP 3: FERTILIZE THE SEED Constantly for an opportunity to present the Gospel message to people for God to continuously work in their lives pray

  23. STEP 4: REAP THE HARVEST Promote the Gospel by bringing the person to any church evangelistic services

  24. STEP 4: REAP THE HARVEST Clearly the Gospel with gentleness and respect. Remember the Gospel is more powerful than any faith flags you raise present

  25. STEP 4: REAP THE HARVEST Lead the person to a prayer of repentance from sin and faith in Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord

  26. STEP 5: BRING IN THE SHEAVES Gently for and cherish the new believers as you teach them the assurance of salvation and the importance of obeying Christ in baptism care

  27. STEP 5: BRING IN THE SHEAVES Diligently constant attention to the new believers even after they have been baptized…they need to be fed, taught and cared for give

  28. STEP 5: BRING IN THE SHEAVES Pray for and maintain friendship even with those who did not respond to the Gospel

  29. “…The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” Matthew 9:37-38

  30. FISHERS OF MEN In Five Simple Steps

  31. STEP 1: AT THY WORD: Obeying Take God at His Word. This is the first step to a victorious and fruitful Christian life. It it saying, “Lord, I trust You and I will obey You”

  32. STEP 2: LAUNCH OUT: Prospecting Look for people. Prayerfully identify people whom you want to win to Christ. List their names so that you and the church can pray for them.

  33. STEP 3: LET DOWN THE NET: Connecting Cultivate friendship with people. Connecting with people in your list requires intentional relationship building efforts, such as having a listening ear and winning their trust so that you will earn their willingness to listen to you.

  34. STEP 4: draw the net: Bringing Present the Gospel. You can share the Gospel to the person or invite him to the church; after much prayers set up a time to visit him or invite the prospect to the church.

  35. STEP 5: NURTURE THE CATCH: Discipling Care for the new believers. Commit to do the follow-up work and disciple those who have responded to the Gospel message. Continue to pray for and be a friend to those who did not respond to the Gospel.
