  1. Signs of heart attack A heart attack occurs when the blood flow to the heart is blocked or choked. The blockage is generally a buildup of fat, cholesterol and other substances, which creates a plaque in the arteries. Manytimes, a plaque is breaked and forms a clot that blocks the blood flow. The interrupted blood flow can harm or tear down part of the heart muscle. If you ever feel a pain in your heart or near your heart and are worried about it then don’t worry, here we are sharing the signs of heart attack. Chest pain or stiffness in chest If you feel any kind of pressure, tightness or squeezing and any abnormal sensation in the central chest then it is one of the signs that you have some issue in your heart. Discomfort in other areas of the upper part of the body. If your body is feeling discomfortable again and again specially the upper body or your body is showing symptoms which include pain or discomfort in one or both arms, back, neck, jaw or stomach then this is a sign of heart attack. Angina Equivalents – Atypical Angina Anginal equivalent is a symptom such as diaphoresis (sweating), shortness of breath (dyspnea), extreme fatigue, or pain at chest and other sites. If any person is having these symptoms then this patient is at higher cardiac risk.

Signs of anginal equivalent : ● Shortness of breath more than usual ● Discomfort in upper abdomen or epigastric region ● Retrosternal Burning ● Choking Sensation in the upper part of the body ● Pain in throat , such as something is stuck ● Pain in the upper back between two shoulder blades Dizziness/ Fainting You may feel dizzy, faint or off balance if your heart is not pumping sufficient blood to your brain. Also your blood pressure will drop. If you are feeling the same then you might get a heart attack very soon. Pain in jaws Pain in jaws specially on the left side is telling you that your heart is suffering from some blockage. If this blockage is big then it causes a heart attack. If you experience any such symptoms , do not waste time and go to your nearest ​Hospital for your checkup.
