  1. Student Handbook rules are fully enforced in this classroom. • For EXAMPLE: ALL Electronic equipment in the OFF position and put away upon entering.

  2. Are NOT ACCEPTED! • Upon occasion you will be asked to complete a written assignment at home. • Turn it in on time in homework bin. • If you are absent on a day an assignment is due, you must turn it in on the day you return (excused absences only.) • You must make up missed daily production points at home (see Ms. Hartman for details.)

  3. Bathroom rules! You are free to use the bathroom in the back of the classroom. Be sure to use it BEFORE class starts AND it becomes off limits if left a mess.

  4. Technicians! Wash up paint brushes in the paint room sink (very back of the room) NOT at makeup counter sinks or bathroom sink. AND USE paint clothes for painting!

  5. Once the third bell rings, you are in your seat ready for the class to begin!

  6. There is no time allowed in class for personal grooming.

  7. All hats, hoods and headgear (including headphones) are not to be worn in the classroom. (GIRLS too!!)

  8. IMPORTANT!!!! Only water with screw-top lids is permissible.

  9. All performers MUST have dance shoes for class (Due Third week…) • Jazz shoe or dance sneaker

  10. ABSOLUTELY NO GUM ON STAGE!!!!!!!!!

  11. FOLLOW the DRAMA NORMS!!! • All Student- Created Performances!

  12. Think: Working in a team requires skills! Develop them!

  13. If ill on a performance/presentation day, email Ms. Hartman to tell her when you expect to return.

  16. The Drama Room … keep it clean! • Everyone is responsible for making sure the room is ready • for the next class. No one is • allowed to leave until the • entire room is picked up/clean.

  17. TECHNICIANS!!! Take care of the tools you use. If you lose a tool or break it through carelessness, you will be expected to replace it.

  18. Working in this class individually or in groups requires a certain level of maturity. If you cannot demonstrate your readiness for participation, you will be asked to stop, lose your points and sit in a corner away from others.

  19. PLEASE NOTE!!! Ms. Hartman’s desk, chair and computer are not for students’ use!!!

  20. Student Computer • Please feel free to use the student computer (by the door.) • It turns on underneath the tablecloth, and be sure to turn it off when finished. • There is no printer available for this computer.
