  5. Type of OSH-MS used National standard MS 1722:2011 Association standard: (recognised internationally) OHSAS 18001:2007

(PDCA) OSH-MS standard is based on Deming cycle (1950) Review of system for continue improvement of OSH performance Involves setting of OSH policy, allocation of resources, provision of skills & organisations, hazard identification and risk assessment Monitor and measure programme against the OSH policy , objectives, legal and other requirement Actual implementation and operation of OSH programme

Benefits of OSH-MS: ■ The possibility of integrating OSH requirements into business systems and aligning OSH objectives with business objectives, ■ Harmonizing OSH requirements with other related requirements, such as quality and environment; ■ Streamlining and improving communication mechanisms, policies, procedures, programmes, and objectives according to a set of rules applied universally;
