Objectives: The purpose of this course is to teach student the concept of Industrial Safety & provide useful practical knowledge for workplace safety which helps identification, evaluation, and control of all the hazards and potential hazards to prevent or mitigate harm or damage to people, property, or the environment. Learning Outcomes: Students completing this course should be able to: • Identify hazard and potential hazard areas. • Develop safety programs to prevent or mitigate damage or losses. • Assess safety practices and programs. • Conduct safety audits. • Improve safety practices.

  4. Attendance: Attendance is compulsory and roll call will be made during classes. Justified absences should be discussed with the instructor preferably before the fact. One absence will affect one point (1/100).
