  15. Proposals Idea 1: Host a monthly events at different communities for the residents to participate and promote awareness on the degrading impacts of overuse and proper waste disposal. • Performance based on the issue. • Competitions on making innovative items out of recycled materials. Skit

  16. Proposals Idea 2: Impose Taxes on items that are unable to be recycled in shops and factories and make the price of recyclable items more affordable. • government subsidy to fund • Try it out in a small area such as the heartland to see how efficient it is

  17. Proposals Idea 3:Put the picture/slogan etc on packaging of non- biodegradable bulky items for sale at the back of the item, list the consequences of buying this item. (e.g environmental destruction) Idea 4: Put posters up, especially in heartlands informing people of the consequences of overuse/ wastage of items.
