  12. Our Conduct will be: • Firm and sure but not dogmatic and overbearing • Aggressive with truth but not mean-spirited • Overcome error with truth - • Objection is the Saving of a Soul • It is not our aim to win an argument • When opportunity arises teach to the best of our ability • The Increase is God’s Business • 1 Cor. 3:6 “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.”

  13. We are despised when We have done right What Do we do ? 16. God will Help Us 1 Pet. 5:6-7 6. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: 7. Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” 1 Cor. 10:13

  17. God will Help Us 2 Pet. 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. ESV

  18. Trust God and Remember Our Reward Psalms 118:8-9 8.“It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. 9. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.”

  19. Trust God and Remember Our Reward Hebrews 13:5-6 5. Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. 6. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

  20. Trust God and Remember Our Reward James 1:2-4 2. ¶ My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3. Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 4. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

  21. Romans 8:35-39 35. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36. As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39. Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
