  12. Why am I interested in "Problem Solving?" • The needs for quality improvement?Statistical process control (usually know as control charts) can tell us when there is a problem in the process. However, it can not tell us where and what the problem is. Solving the problem is even more difficult. • Experiences tell me that a systematical approach will save time/cost, and solve the problems more effectively. • Intent to solve more problems as a service to local and regional industry.
