  2. Mountain biking is one of the newest Olympic sports .The first year the mountain bike races where In Atlanta in 1996. Mountain biking is very hard on the body because your biking for about two hours on a rough course. Mountain biking will test your endurance and how good you are the sport is not for everyone. The mountain biking events are men's cross country mountain biking and women's cross country mountain biking . Each country is limed to 3 men and 2 woman competing. The course isn’t decided a pone till the day before the Olympics. The rules are very easy. You must stay on the curse and you are the only one that can do repairs on you bike no one else can help. You are not aloud the push or hit people when you are racing. The races for the men last about 2:15 and are around 25 miles to 30 miles.
