Relative humidity is the amount of moisture in the air compared to the amount of moisture the air can hold at that temperature. • 2.   4. Dew Point • What is Dew Point? • When is air saturated? • What happens if the temperature of the air is the same as the dew point? (remember the LAB!)

Dew Point • What is Dew Point? • the temperature at which a gas condenses to a liquid (or water vapor becomes water) • When is air saturated? • air is saturated when it has a relative humidity of 100% which means dew point has been reached • What happens if the temperature of the air is the same as the dew point? (remember the LAB!) • water vapor will condense and form a liquid, or dew! • in the atmosphere water vapor will condense on a dust particle and become a cloud

With the understanding that you want to be outside tomorrow, which of the 4 fronts we learned about would you rather have come through? • Fully explain why.
