7. What is needed? • Both machines need the same storage capacity (DB, application, temp files, …) • Hardware does not need to match. Example: Source machine can use 200 GB drives and the target can use 1TB drives • This will affect performance in the event of a failover but you can choose to run only core services in failover mode (Payroll)
