  3. Third International PKI Survey • Two previous surveys (June & August 03) • Two years elapsed • PKI seems to be recovering worldwide, so we need new trend data • Look at Benefits of PKI as well as Cost • Engage Asia and Europe

  4. Objectives • Explore trends detected and discussed in the first two surveys • Provide quantitative information (perhaps for the first time) on the financial benefits of PKI deployment, and • Analyse PKI costs and cost management tactics, within the framework of the OASIS Digital Certificate Supply Chain model.

  5. Methodology for Third Survey • Questionnaire PLUS in-person interviews • Retain certain questions for previous surveys, to allow comparisons • Study costs in six parts according to the OASIS Digital Certificate Supply Chain model • Study potential benefits in three parts
