  2. Google Earth • GSAK • Premium membership Prerequisites

  3. Start with Google Earth • Select the Directions tab. • Type the starting location in the From field. • Type the ending location on the To field. • Click the search button.

  4. Save the Route • Select File->Save->Save Place As. • The Save file… window appears. • Select the location in which to save the file. • Type the file name. • Select Kml (*.kml) as the file type. • Click the Save button.

  5. Go to Geocaching.com • Click My Account. • Click Build Pocket Queries.

  6. In My Pocket Queries… • Click Find Caches Along a Route.

  7. Upload the File • Select the Upload GPX / KML tab. • In the Upload GPX or KML File field, type the path to the .kml file or click Browse to locate the file. • Click Upload.

  8. Save the Route • Check the box to the left of the .kml file • Click Save Selected Routes.

  9. Create the Pocket Query • Select the Your Created Routes tab. • Click Create Pocket Query.

  10. Configure the PQ Options • Select the route search criteria. • How far from the route • How many caches • Configure cache type, container type, and filter options. • Select the email options and click the Submit information button.

  11. Run thePocket Query • Click the Pocket Queries link. • Click the Preview icon to view the route. • When you are satisfied with the route, check the box for the day you wish to run the query.
