  6. Project Timeline • Pilot: 2010-2013 • All FIA plots (24,860) for GA, CO, WA • Mid-level classification • Production Pilot 2014-15 – engage all units • All FIA plots for (22% of 44,249) MD, VT, NH, TX, UT • High-level classification

Current and Future Potential Obstacles • Time to interpret accomplish plot • Number of dots per plot • Classification detail – alignment with FIA field manual • High Resolution Imagery • NAIP continuation • Private imagery sources (BING, Google) • Historical imagery archive • Organizational Placement • Project Alignment: TCC, Prefield, ICE, LCMS • Inputs: NAIP, Tool, Training, Production Support • Data Management: NIMS • Reports: FIA state report, IPCC, RPA, NFS/S&P, Climate, IM&A, etc. • Funding & Project Management: • IRDB (tool and raining), • Program (production) • AAR

Current & Future Action Steps • Resolve ICE protocol (impact tool, training and productivity) • 5 dots for all “no-change” – review December 2015 • Detail in the classification – review December 2015 • Define Organization and Responsibilities (impact: project alignment, data management, funding/project management) • Maintain IRB Funding (impact: tool, training, production) • Data (impact: analysis period, analysis, production, data management) • Generate Reports (impact: reporting opportunities)
