Learning Asset Manager (LAM) Roles and Responsibilities • Responsible for the quality and currency of assigned learning asset content • Performing maintenance on assigned learning assets • Preparing supporting documentation such ISPs for developed learning assets as appropriate • Communicating when learning asset revisions are needed, or learning assets become obsolete, to the appropriate PLD and other stakeholders 17

GLTC Support Roles • Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) • Supports CDs, PLDs, CMs & serves as core members of Learning Asset IPTs with analysis planning, TLO/ELO development, design, development, production, student assessment and evaluation, piloting, implementation, revision and maintenance of learning assets • Knowledge Project Officers (KPO) • Supports CDs, PLDs & serves as the advocate for the development, revision and maintenance of KS learning assets, and their integration across all elements of the learning asset portfolio • Chief Education Advisor (CEA) • Ensures the DAU Faculty Performance Development (FPD) program provides learning/support assets to faculty across the PLM • Responsible for learning technology research

Knowledge Management and Knowledge Sharing • LAMP transitioning focus to KM • Knowledge Management (KM) is the core of DAU’s mission • The KM process incorporates people, policies, processes, and technology working together to provide a systematic process to accurately account for all DAU learning assets while keeping them current and relevant over the life span of the asset. This includes the identification, creation, distribution, and maintenance of all learning assets. • We are ALL responsible for developing and maintaining DAU’s Body of Knowledge (BoK) • We share/distribute the BoK through our Training, Continuous Learning, Mission Assistance and Knowledge Sharing Products and Services
