  2. The Basics • Start with the “Slide Master” tab to give your presentation a uniform format • Keep it clean and simple, but a personalized format can be interesting and memorable

  3. Format • If you didn’t choose a standard font, don’t forget to EMBED the font when you save

  4. Format • Avoid the following: • yellow on white • red on green • Hard to read fonts Bigger is Better! Use a minimum font size 24

  5. Animation • Some animation tools are ANNOYING • We don not want to spend a lot of time waaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiittttttttiiiiiiiiinnnnnngggggg for text or images to appear
