  6. Updates! New Website • Titles of sections better reflect what we do • Easier navigation for users; easier back end for updating. • Easier to find resources and includes search feature • Beginning Symposium information (hotel info) available, rest to be populated in April

Today’s Presenter Susan TigertDirector of the Integrated Education & Technology Program stigert@christacademywf.orgloves teaching English and Speech on the secondary level.HaS two children, Matthew and Brenden, who also attend the school.loveSto read, travel, and spend time with family. Susan says The best part about being a teacher at Christ Academy is watching her students not only grow academically but most of all spiritually.

  14. Facilities: Limitations: Possibilities: Classroom Space for individual grades Creating space for integrated classes

  15. Faculty: • Unable to support a full staff for traditional high school • Limited course offerings with limited staff

IET Program at Christ academy • IET – Integrated Education and Technology Program • Completing second year of online program • 38 students – 9-12 grades • 1st graduating class • Currently use Sevenstar Academy for online provider • Offer on-campus electives – Studio Art, Pottery, and Business Ethics • Competitive Athletics • Accredited through ACSI

  17. What makes Christ academy unique: • Certified teachers in Tech Center • Small teacher-student ratio • More individualized learning • All teachers are academic advisors
