Introduction of Hungarian Investment and Trade Agency • Governmental agency for investmentpromotionand trade development • Headquarters in Budapest, regional offices throughout Hungary and linked to 63 offices around the world • 150 employees, mainly consultants • Main activity: consultancy, mediation, information, and around 500 programmes yearly (trade fairs, B2B meetings, conferences, roadshows, etc)

Main Tasks of theAgency Promote and facilitate foreign investments Offer one-stop-shop services for the clients Promotion of government incentives Operative guidance through the implementation phase Help to get licences, real estate, consultants, etc. Encourage Hungarian SMEs to expand their activities on international level (trade promotion) Internationalization: capital export, facilitate joint ventures, international technical cooperation
