  3. Role of the Football Booster Club Booster Clubs are organized to help promote, support and improve the extra curricular activities of the football program. Booster Club are volunteer parents whose only objective is to enhance the experience of our Athlete's participation in their chosen sport, Football! Strong booster clubs are an essential element to a high school football program. They are valuable groups of people within the school system because it's volunteer based and they do an awful lot. Ultimately, they(Football Booster Clubs) help the kids and that's what it's about."
  4. Establishing a Booster Club Develop a constitution which states: 1. The group or club purpose 2. Qualifications for membership(*If you request*) 3. Officers of the group or club 4. Duties and terms of officers 5. Time and place of regular meetings and conditions for calling special meetings 6. Method of amending constitution(*Create Bylaws*) 7. An effective date for the Bylaws established 8. Develop and submit a budget to the school. Administrator and school bookkeeper

Officer Responsibilities President - Presides at all regular, special, and a board meeting, oversee committees including appointment of committees and is an ex officio member of all committees, organize specific functions of the Club, and works directly with the Director of Athletics. Vice President - Oversees operations in President’s absence and aids the President in appointing all committees, committee coordinators, and team representatives involved with projects undertaken by the club. Secretary - Keeps records of all regular, special and board meetings. Takes the minutes at all meetings, maintains membership roll, meeting notices, letters and thank-you notes as instructed by the President. Treasurer - Receives, deposits, and records all Buckhorn Football Booster Club money. Also pays the bills. The Treasurer also provides a monthly statement to the Buckhorn Football Booster Club Board that shall consist of all the transactions that have occurred during the month with an accurate account and balance of the club’s finances.
