  1. A visit to Bramhall Hall by Daisy Connett. On the 24th of January 2014 y4b went to Bramhall Hall because we were learning about the Tudors. First we met Meg and Geoffrey, Sir Geoffrey, they were really nice. The girls wore a ruff, head dress and a kirtle and boys wore a hose and cap and the teachers were our servants for the Day. After we dressed up we were split into 2 groups and my group went to the still room first. We made somthing called a nose gay Did you Know? That if your tooth ached in Tudor times you put a nail in the hole and goose fat in too, to smooth the pain down. Later I had to write my name in Tudor writing. It was tricky and fun. Eventually we ate lunch and I got to sit on the high table, there where wooden cups but you weren't alowed cups on the high table. Finaly we explordBramhall Hall. We even got to dance and we were taught how to dance properly and we learnt about the angel of Deth , then we played instraments. I had lots of fun Dancing and making. We even saw a strange duck which looked like a clown but I was sad when we had to leave.
