  2. Tuesday May, 20th 2014 • Two Year Supplemental Levy • $500,000 each year • Levy will increase $2.21 per $1,000 • Example: 40,000 (net taxable property value)*$2.21 per $1,000 of Net Taxable Property Taxes = $88.40 increase in taxes.

Without The Levy Proposed Cuts to Programs and Staff • Cut Part Time Superintendent • Reduced to one Administrator, No additional Principal or Superintendent • Proposed Cuts to Athletics • No athletics • Pay to play • No assistant coaching staff for all sports • Reduce Classified Staff • Reduce Janitorial Staff • Reduce Paraprofessionals • Cut Music Program • Cut Math Teacher • Students will Pay for IDLA • No Plant Facility Money • (Building Maintenance) • Reduction to Business Manager Staff

  7. How Will The Levy Money Be Spent? • Administrator • To supplement the deficit between state reimbursement and budgeted salary of administration and full time IT Director. (To provide additional necessary funding for a full-time administrator and Tech Director) • Maintaining Current Staff • Possible Certified High School Math Teacher • Hire a Full Time IT Director • Someone who will be in our district full time. Currently we out source and the needs of the staff and students are not being met.

  8. How Will The Levy Money Be Spent? Cont. • Updating Curriculum To Common Core Standards • Align with new Idaho Core Standards • Plant Facility (Building Maintenance) • Gym floor replacement, structural repairs to elementary building, HVAC maintenance, repair main boiler, outside wall structural crack, misc. repairs to each class room. • Upgrade Technology • Upgrade much needed technology for students and staff. • To Reach a Balanced Budget • To maintain our school at the present level of education, if passed the levy will help off set the budget.
