  2. Early Years • David Walter Foster was born on November 1, 1949 in British Columbia, Canada. • In 1971 Foster moved to Los Angeles, California with his new band Skylark. • In the late 1070s' Foster began writing and producing music.

  3. 1980s’ • Foster worked with the rock band Chicago and helped them top the charts with their single, “Will you still love me.” • Foster’s reputation became more respected as he won multiple Grammys’ with Natalie Cole.

  4. 1990s’ • In 1992 he wrote and produced Whitney Houston’s song, “I Have Nothing.” • Foster expanded his work into different genres of music.

  5. 2000s’ - present • Founded artists like Josh Groban, Michael Buble and Charice.
