ICTServices and Software The ICT Services and Software team recently carried out an opportunity assessment on the IT Managed Services (ITMS) framework and the central government sector specific Application and Web Development framework. The assessment identified a number of opportunities with regards to the re-let of these frameworks. The team would like to invite market and stakeholder feedback on the proposed future framework(s) model as detailed on the next slide. IT Services Framework • The proposed future structure of IT Services Framework (shown right) , also incorporates the central government Application and Web Development framework lots as potential future procurements. • Our intention is to first re-let the IT Managed Services framework reviewing the scope, lot structure, as well as streamlining the framework operation. It will be known as ‘IT Services framework’. • Our aim is to have a replacement framework in place to continue on from the expiration of the incumbent framework - 31 March 2015. • The future delivery of separate frameworks (as detailed below) will also allow users a more focused route to market • UIG (User Intelligence Group) is will be held with internal stakeholders end of June 2014 • Other frameworks • The timeline has still to be finalised for the other planned frameworks which will include App and Web Development; Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Services; and Testing. Further details will be published on the website when the information is available.
