  3. The journey so far cont. • April/May 2012: Consultancies given out to Associates for Change (AfC) and Ghana National Education Campaign Coalition (GNECC) to conduct Environmental scan and Market & feasibility studies respectively • September /October, 2012: Research reports submitted to SfL.

Context For Developing a Vision/Mission/Objective for SfL Strategic Plan • Evolution of mission/objective: From pure & simple service delivery through advocacy, mainstreaming, replication, civil society strengthening , LDC, RBM, Strategic Plan, .. • Diversification of funding sources: From Danida funding to multi-donor funding and multi-tasking (USAID, DFID, UNICEF, …

Context For Developing a Vision/Mission/Objective for SfL Strategic Plan cont. • Current Mission/Objective of SfL: The formal school system has adopted School for Life best practices to improve access and quality in basic education to underserved communities. • Way forward to a new vision/mission: SfL will need to open up to emerging opportunities, particularly in the light of the confidence that major stakeholders (including developing partners) have in SfL to do what it does best and more….
