Review of Last Call Process • Propose Working Group Last Call (WGLC) • LC Coordinator (LCC) checks with Authors and Chairs to ensure that the draft is ready to move to WGLC. • Assign NITS Reviewer • LCC assigns the NITS review to someone from the pool of volunteers. • Assign Last Call Reviewers • LCC assigns the LC review to at least three people from the pool of volunteers. • Open Discussion & Reviewers Post Comments • LCC announces the start of LC discussion to the list. • LC reviewers post first cut of comments to stir up debate. Review of Last Call Process • Authors Post Summary & Conclusions • LCC announces the end of LC discussion to the list. • Once LC has been closed, the authors should post the conclusions from the discussion to ensure that all open issues have been closed. • Poll Chairs for Consensus • LCC checks with the chairs to ensure that the draft is ready to go to the IESG. • Submit to IESG • Chairs email AD’s and the IESG of their recommendation to schedule and IESG review of the draft.   9. Renaming of Drafts • With the separation of SIP and SIPPING, drafts need to be renamed based on their appropriate working group. • Need agreement on how to split drafts. • Need authors to resubmit drafts with new names. SIP & SIPPING IETF51 Brief - Page 9
