  3. Description of the Texas Blind Snake • Pinkish-tan scales • Big Surprise the Texas Blind Snake is Blind • Worm like • Same size as a pencil • Black dot eyes • It Eats Larvae,pupae, and termites • 2 to 10 Inches long

  4. Where the Texas Blind Snake can be found in Kansas The counties Include: Sumner, Harper, Barber, Comanche, Clark, Meade, Seward, Stevens and Morton.

  5. Population • Current population is low and due to natural causes the Texas Blind Snake is fluctuating because their location often changes.

  6. Habitat • Moist dirty-muddy areas with some rock. Most Texas Blind Snakes in Kansas are along the border of Oklahoma and Kansas where it is usually warmer.
