  7. Make your case • What need are you addressing? • Brainstorm a list of the benefits of what you do? Fit into “issue areas”. Who cares about those? • What are they “buying” or investing in? • Tell a story • Use data, in moderation

  8. Grant writing • Find well suited grants before you need them! • Make your case once (master proposal) • Plan for the report (evaluation)
