Historical Geology Course Overview Goal The goal of this course is to introduce students to the evolution of the continents, ocean basins, mountain chains, and the major life forms throughout Earth's history. These are studied chronologically and are related to the physical and biological changes which have caused them. Lecture 1 I.B.i
