  2. What makes sound? Vibration-A back and forth motion Sound waves- A vibration that spreads away from a vibrating object.

  3. How is sound produced by strings? Some strings on a guitar are tighter causing it to be a lower pitch , some string are loose which makes it a higher pitch. There are thinner strings and there are thicker strings, thicker strings produce LOWER sounds THINNER strings produce higher pitches.

  4. What makes sound? Compression-The part a sound wave where molecules are crowded together. Rare faction-The part of a sound wave where molecules are spread apart.

  5. What can sound go through Solid- box Liquid- water Gas- oxygen
