  1. Salina Intermediate PBIS Kick-Off Assembly 2015-16

  2. Be Ready 1-Arrive on time. School starts at 7:50! *Breakfast is served starting at 7:10 and will not be served after 7:45. 2-Enter your classrooms quickly and quietly 3.- Be prepared to learn! (have materials, etc.)

  3. Be Respectful • Use appropriate language– in English and in Arabic and/or other languages • Bullying will not be tolerated! • Fighting is an automatic three day suspension. • Rough play will not be tolerated.

  4. Be Responsible • Complete all assignments with pride. • Track your grades on Student-Connect. • Share and discuss your assignments, projects, and grades with your parents. • Take care of your books and other school property. • Use your planners!!

  5. No Backpacks in Classrooms Leave your backpacks in your lockers during the day. Lockers should be used before school, at lunch time, and after school ONLY.

  6. No cell phones during school

  7. Cafeteria Etiquette • “ARM-SPAN Space” in the line at all times (give each other some personal space PLEASE) • No pushing, running, shoving, screaming, and arguing in line or in the cafeteria • You MUST clean your area after you eat • You MUST raise your hand first for permission to go outside (your area will be inspected first)

  9. Crossing before and after school Use the cross walks only!!!

  10. The expectations are to be followed on all school premises: • Classrooms • Restrooms/locker rooms • Recess • Hallways • Lunchroom/playground • Assemblies/Activities • Bus • Before and after school

  11. Rewards • A sense of pride • Raffle tickets for weekly drawings for prizes • Group picture for the winners • Field trips • Activities • Cedar Point (end of year)

  12. Positive behavior leads to a safer environment where students achieve academically and build positive relationships with each other and with adults.
