  2. Prefix sizes currently set • /22 portable allocations made from following blocks • 1/8, 14/8, 27/8, 49/8, 58/7, 60/7, 101/8, 110/7, 112/5, 120/6, 124/7, 126/8, 175/8, 180/8, 182/7, 210/7, 219/8, 220/6 • /24 portable assignments made from following blocks • 202/7, 218/8

Current issues • Following problems arisen due to prefix sizes set on APNIC blocks • IPv4 address transfers • Minimum transfer size /24 • Membership downgrade • Only wish to keep /24 and return rest previously delegated IPv4 address space • Filters • Setting of filter sizes based on prefix size • http://www.apnic.net/db/min-alloc.html

  4. Solution • To rectify this issue • Change prefix size to /24 on all APNIC IPv4 address blocks • Update APNIC website • http://www.apnic.net/db/min-alloc.html • Send announcement after APNIC 30 • To advise network administrators to change routing filters
