  7. Example Students study the Sistine Chapel. In this study, students seek answers to the complex questions - “How were the frescoes in the Sistine Chapel restored? How are the frescos currently maintained?” Students analyze the chemistry of paints, the effects of detergents on the paint, arguments surrounding the restoration program, the anatomy of figures in paintings, the architecture of the Chapel, and the history of the Renaissance.
