Why MFF • The Microfinance forum was created specifically to enable; • Members of AFRACA & other stakeholders involved or interested in microfinance services to come together and exchange experiences and learn new approaches to offering financial services. • Result: Replication, modification of strategies… improved service delivery • AFRACA to realize its objectives as such its mission

  4. 5th AFRACA Microfinance Forum Theme Optimizing financial service delivery to the rural areas Why this theme? • Majority of the African population still does not have access to financial services • Microfinance has high potential for poverty reduction

Objectives of the 5th Microfinance forum • Improve knowledge and understanding of microfinance as an industry • Share experiences on how microfinance service delivery could be enhanced to better serve rural populations in Africa • Showcase innovations and cutting edge technologies in microfinance • Avail an opportunity to participants to network, establish new contacts and extend knowledge exchange and expertise
