Millennium Generation • The common thread: "Millennials" are fast, multi-tasking, high achievers who have led highly-paced, highly-structured, helicopter-parent driven lives involving plenty of positive multi-cultural exposure, group activity, and shared family time. Computer literate and techno-savvy, how they live and learn is quite different than their predecessors (Connor, Colorado State University) • How do we reach these learners in the most effective way? Try something new, and keep trying when it doesn’t work the first time (Because it probably won’t) • Don’t be afraid to ask for help (even from students) • Remember that success in using technology doesn’t happen overnight; it is a long process and I will probably always be learning new things and feel behind!
