Verizon VoIP Making a call • No 7 required for outside dialing • No 1 required for long distance • Extension dialing is 5 digits when using VoIP system • To call other departments and its not on VoIP system use 10 digit dialing • For all other outside calls use 10 digit dialing • For international calls dial 011 + Country Code + telephone number

Verizon VoIPVoicemail • Voicemail external access number 919-428-2828 • This can be 5 digit dialed from VoIP phone 82828 • Temporary passcode is 996200 for voicemail setup • No voicemail integration for forwarding or transferring calls between the VoIP phones and Centrex phones • To set up voicemail, access internal website,http://its.unc.edu/CommTechnology/engineering_and_operations/customer_services/voice-messaging/personal-mailbox/index.htm

Call Pickup Call Pickup - Call Pickup will allow you to pick up the longest ringing phone call within your Call Pickup Group. *98 Call Pickup – press *98# Directed Call Pickup - Directed Call Pickup will allow you to pick up a specifically ringing phone call within your Call Pickup Group. *97 Call Pickup –Dial *97 # and the extension you would like to pickup.

  19. Call Park To Park a Call While on a call: Press the Hold soft-key on your SIP Phone. Select an available LINE and Dial*68#. Follow the prompts to enter the extension to which you want to park the call. OR Press the # key to park it to your own extension or on the line you accessed.

  20. Call Park Pick Up Select a LINE and Dial *88#. Follow the prompts to enter the extension where the call was parked. OR Press the # key to pick it up from your extension.

  21. Additional Features The Directory List is your personal phone book, stored within your phone. You can enter up to 200 entries in the Directory by adding them manually, or by saving the number and name from other lists (Display, caller, or redial) stored on your phone. Each entry can contain a maximum of 16 characters. Redial allows you to quickly redial the last number that was dial out from your phone. The last 100 numbers dialed are accessible via the Redial button.
