  2. When connecting to the CA site you should type your usernameand password. The system recognizes both capital andlowercase letters. mmartu@hotmail.com **************** Then click “Loguearse”

  3. Above you can see the username andthe option to “Close the session”. After logging on, go to themain menu. There the authorizedAnimators can access their cases and begin theircoordination.

  4. The option “Casos” in the main menu, will lead you to the pagethat contains the sub-menu Casos. This menu will allow youto navigate through the differentcases and see the table with cases pending acceptance.(clic “Casos”

  5. Here we can see the sub-menu “Casos” and find the pending cases. Pending cases are those that were brought up by Animators from countries, whose participation was requested.

  6. If the case is refused, a screen willappear to justify the reasons forthe refusal. In the link “Gestión” you can either accept or refuse a case. If you accept it, the system will update the table and send the case to the link Casos “en proceso” (in process)

  7. Caso no corresponde al país. In this screen you write the reasonsfor refusing the case.The case then will go to the page “Casos Rechazados” (Refused cases)

  8. To open a case click the option “Inicio de Caso”.

  9. Select the Animators to whomyou wish to direct the case. Write here the data of the case: (approx. 8 word description),with the data of the child, date of the event, etc. At the end of enteringthe pertinent data, pleaseclick the option to save(“Guardar”). The systemwill generate a new casethat will be accessible tothe other Animators.

  10. Once the form is saved, the case can be monitored from the link cases “ Iniciados”. This table will give you the synthesis and the present state of the cases that you initiated.

  11. Only the Animator that opened the case can modify the data entered. This can be done by clicking on “Descripción” (Description). (Click “Descripción”)

  12. In the field “Gestión” you can click the option “Editar” to make modifications. Every time a case is edited, an electronic mail is sent to the Animators involved.

  13. This table shows the cases that otherAnimators and you have initiated, that have already been accepted and are presently in the process of investigation. You can click the field “Descripción” to access all the data for each case.

  14. This table shows the cases thatyou initiated and that, for somereason have been finished orcancelled. Only the Animatorthat originated the case canfinish or cancel it.

  15. The cases “Rechazados” (refused) are those initiated by other Animators and that for some reason you havehad to refuse.

  16. The option “Animadores” gives us access to the complete data for all the Animators, the Coordinator andthe technical support of the system.(Click the option” Animadores”)

  17. It also gives access to informationon the support personnel to help solve any problem or send suggestionswith respect to the system. The information on the Animatorswill allow you to maintain a fluidcommunication with the others by mail, phone, fax, etc.

  18. The option Foros (Forums) will allow us to start an interactive forum on-line related to a topic orcase with the participation of the other Animators.(Click the option Foros)

  19. Forum’s topic. Option to add a newtopic to the forum. Comments entered. Option to add a documentto share with the other Animators.

  20. The option “ Información” will provide directaccess to complementary material that will help you to improve the functioning of your role.(Click the option “Información”)

  21. Links to websites of NGOs and Regional and International Organizations Direct access to all the on-line newspapers of CentralAmerica and the Caribbean. Gallery of pictures of children. Information on Eventsrelated to children.

  22. The option “Estadísticas” showsindicators of the activity being carried out within the Coordination system..(Click on Estadísticas)

  23. This option will give you a globalview of the number and state ofthe cases entered in the system, classified by class and country.
